Wow, it`s really quiet around here today. Is everyone recuperating from the long weekend?

Complications on the house job, which has morphed beyond what we had planned into major replacements of the guts - no choice. :( Very little playing time, alas!

Wow. Sorry to hear about your house problems Marta.
Bets, I hope all goes well with your surgery and that you will be back to your usual self soon.

What Lizzie said.

Marta, with a 70+ year-old house, I can commiserate. It`s so hard to be patient when things take longer and many more $. DH ripped out the original bathroom in early summer, and it`s still just bare wall studs; he`s finally mentioned getting someone else to work on it.

Bets, sending lots of good wishes for a quick recovery. Been there, did that, have the scar. Be gentle with yourself and don`t try to overdo - please.

Don`t overwork yourself before the big day - rest is important! All kinds of happy and fuzzy thoughts going your way...

Thanks, Lizzie and Barbara! I am so tired of construction and a house where nothing is in place that I may yet turn into an organization freak when this is over...:)

Really? REALLY? I don`t think it`s possible for me. But I can hold out hope, right?

I`ve been out of touch with the world. If it`s not one thing, it`s another. Not much knitting going on here, but I`m hoping for a little motivation to finish my MIL`s socks for this Christmas.
