Especially Bets and others from Texas.
Tracy is smoking pork roasts today, all day, for Texas style pulled pork sandwiches!!!It`s been an on going thing for the past few days with the brining, rubbing and more rubbing;-) I`ve been drooling since about 7 am and can`t wait till dinner....but I have to...It will be worth it!
We already have the beans, coleslaw and sauce ready to go.
Yummo! (I just wanted to share my anticipation with you all!)

OT, but still a food topic...
I can`t find the recipe for that black bean salad I brought out to the campsite, Diane. Bacon, onion, beans, what else???

BTW That salad was awesome!!Both were but the beans were so suitable! (Not that coleslaw wasn`t but the bean salad saved me for making beans:-)

Thanks for the reminder...it was beans, onions, lots of bacon, and the fig/balsamic dressing. We`d all agreed that corn could also be added.
I was stuck trying to remember the dressing. For some reason, I thought it was maple-something.

Nah. I can just hop in my car. I had fresh tortillas with guacamole and plum tomatos, and made beef quesadillas.
Hope Tracy gives you a towel!!!

Oh, yeah, and TEXAS made poulet en cocotte, slow roasted chicken for dinner, with a little white wine swirled into the jus, garlic mashed taters on the side.

I`ve been sick this week, Diane. I sent my DH to the store for potatoes and onions. He bought 5 lbs of onions and 2 potatoes. It was funny.
