I just finished reading this book.....WOW, I totally loved it! I cried and laughed all at the same time.

Hey Cate, nice to see you!

Lib, I think the part that sealed the deal for me was the soo-prize project`s outcome. That irked me to no end! It was just a book. Set in a yarn store. By a woman who doesn`t knit.

Gil McNeil is both a knitter and a writer. I really enjoyed both of her books. I guess you could say they are Brit Chick Lit. First is Divas Don`t Knit and the second is Needles and Pearls. Divas Don`t Knit is the UK title - it`s something completely different in the US. It was cheaper to order used copies from Amazon UK than new from Amazon US.
Bets, I cruise by the Elann chat to check on folks but rarely write.

I really enjoyed reading this book too. Learned a lot about the English ways of living.

I really liked it. We did it for Book Club. They all loved it and none of them knit.
