I bought a bunch of this in berry a couple of months ago when there was a sale, Has anyone done cables with it, I was thinking of the cable shawl in the fall Vogue? Any input?

I wonder about the felt aspect, Grace. I had the sense that it would felt on a dime.

It doesn`t felt that easily! I have my 4 entrelac shawls made out of the SWS striping and they have stood up very well to hand washing several times and still look great. The fringe has sorta felted together but no so much that you can`t tell that it is fringe.
It would make a lovely shawl and I think the cables would stand out nicely. I have a 5 pound cone of the SWS Berry and am still looking for the "right" project for it. Some day I will find just the right thing for it and cables are a definite possibility!
Just don`t throw it in the washer or dryer;-)

I`m not saying that it won`t felt easily... it does, and quite wonderfully too, but with a gentle wool soak and lie flat to dry, it`ll last for years with out felting up. I promise.
I am a big fan of SWS:-)
