Check out this cute pattern for flip-flop socks! An Elann friend of me had it in her Projects, and I immediately thought about using leftover sock yarns or getting several pairs from one skein of Esprit or SiTM.

I think those would be really good for new sandals-I`ve had some miserable break-in periods.

I saw a woman in Portland airport with some lightweight ones she`d got from Costco/Walmart/whatev; she said they made it less likely that she`d get a sore where the toe thong went. Plus it seems to me (I`ve got a very difficult foot to fit) that one of these would help with those `whole sizes only` models of shoes.
