Wow. Now that is the kind of project that keeps me knitting. someday, someday i will achieve a pattern that it beautiful, fits well and can be worn and worn and worn. Totally perfect. Great job. AND sale yarn actually used not sitting in stash!

Pat, my start date on my Ravelry project notes was June 11th, so two months. But that probably is not actual knitting time. Plus if I knew what I was doing from the beginning instead of deciding as I was knitting I`m sure it would have been quicker :-}. At one point it was going to be a cardigan, then a top with sleeves, and the top part was going to be stockinette with an empire waist look, maybe a drawstring...as it turned out I pretty much stuck with the original design except for added side-shaping! I really like the stitch pattern with this yarn so am thinking of either a mini-shrug or baby sweater with the leftovers.
