Got some today. I love the sharp KnitPicks Points and have been using the wooden Harmony needles when I needed something with more grab than the metal. I really like the Acrylics. They flex, have grab, and pointy points. All things I like.

Hmmm, will have to look them up. Flex, grab and pointy tips! Just bought a 3mm Addi lace today and 5 lbs of Saskatoon berries while on my work travels!

Sounds like they are my type of needle! I`ve been using Bryspuns but when you go above size 8(5mm) the points get markedly less pointy. Thanks for the heads up.

I got my tips today. They don`t feel as deadly as the metal ones. We shall see. I also ordered cable connectors from Ebay. Great idea.

I didn`t know that there were cable connectors. Do they connect cable to cable to increase the length?

Jamie, I think I need to make a pie with the berries. ;-} It was raining when I got there - just a drizzle but i wasn`t dressed for it so I couldn`t pick my own. They usually have ice cream buckets full to buy as well as U-pick but not this time. Had to buy frozen ones - probably from last year`s crop. They`ll be great but there`s something about fresh picked!!

Yes you can create longer cables. They are only available in Europe. A set of three cost me 6.00 including shipping. I`ll send you a link to the seller if you like.

Still curious about this Saskatoon berry thing. Maybe I can find some preserves online to get a taste. Sounds like you are enjoying your summer.
