Has anyone used this yarn? It looks felted. Love the pink.

I want to snuggle with the pictures. I fell down with Lima and the Wooly Tweed... Must. Resist. This. Yarn.

I gotta say, that does look like some yummy yarn. Is it next to the skin soft? I`m asking cuz the book picture has a lady wearing a sweater. I`m guessing that it is out of this yarn.

I recall the Painted Forest as being fairly soft. Not merino-wool soft, but decent, perhaps slightly more scratchy than Cascade 220. I`m very prone to wool-itch and would probably wear this over a shirt, but then that is true of almost all wools for me.

It has really nice long runs of color, comparable to Noro Kuryeon for striping and felts really really fast.

The book has a capelet, which has no stripes, looks rather variegated. Is it gonna be stipy like Noro?

Do you know how many balls needed for a pair of woman size small?

SK, here`s the yardage for the Fiber Trends felted clogs:
To fit shoe size: women: 6, 8, 10; men: 11, 13
Yarn requirements: worsted weight wool - 550, 600, 650, 750, 850 yards
Needle: #13US

BUT it`s worsted weight yardage and you hold it doubled throughout, so for bulky yarn you only need half the yardage.

Thank you Joan. It looks like 5 balls for a pair of size 6.

It is a Betsy kind of month. I love all those colors but I am in jail with Bets. My stash is wagging its finger at me. ;-}

And I hate (ha ha) to do this to you ladies, but check out Stephanie Van der Linden`s sock designs on Ravelry. I have already joined the German sockknitters group (which was NOT easy since I had to google-translate everything on the page) and queued those socks.
