Dawn is going to be thrilled with it. I love the idea of knitting fish and turtles. I remember seeing a washcloth/dishcloth pattern with a very cool starfish on it, a starfish would be cool. Dang, now I want fried conch and a Yellow Bird, of course, I want them on Green Turtle Cay in the Bahamas. Let`s go and celebrate our birthdays (doesn`t matter when they were) and Lucy and Ethel`s birthdays too. :)

The bag is just one of those market bags. The first fish is this one http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/wishy-washy-fishy-tawashi I did it in the round, so she can put lip balm in it. The second fish is this http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/a-fish-shaped-purse-from-peru This pattern is from Pieceworks the pattern is from Peru. Sort of weird as the top part that opens is all ss and curls in a strange way. They are both done is scraps of sock yarn. So colorful. The first bag was done is Cotton Ease in bright orange. Dawn bought the yarn home. The new bag I am working on is Sonata in Aegean Sea and Light Turquoise. The Light Turquoise is the same shade as her bathing suit. The turtle is going on the bottom of the bag. Cause beach bags frequently end up laying on their sides. I need a new camera battery. When I get one I will take pictures. So Lucy when are we going for lunch? :-}
Suzann ps go to my blog there is a beautiful video there. A friend gave it to me, when I had trouble going to sleep.
