Benne:
I was so good that I didn`t buy anything since April (the only thing was renew my sample subscription). This morning, I got your long letter, it changed everything. I spent $290.30. I should charge on your credit card :-)
Benne, I was busy between Kay and my garden plus hurt my back couple weeks ago, still have difficulty to put my socks on. Have not knit and ship for so long. BB and I will write to you soon. I miss you.

Hi Shui Kuen,

I`ve missed you too!!! I`m so sorry to hear about your back. I know how painful that can be. I wish I could describe my physical therapy exercises to you so you could do them. They really helped me. I`ll try and find the sheet they gave me but it`s been years so I may not have much luck. One thing I do every morning is to lie flat on my back in bed and slowly pull my knees to my chest, letting the muscles stretch out slowly and getting everything back in alignment.

It seems that I have not lost my enabling touch! ;-} About that credit card thing, I think I`m in enough trouble on my own. lol SK, I can`t wait to see what you make with all that yarn. Your knitting is so beautiful and precise, just perfect. People should hire you to knit the stitch swatches for stitch encyclopaedias. But no, that would be a waste of your valuable knitting time when you could be making your gorgeous creations for us all to look at and ooh and aah. :-}

Big hugs to you and BB,
Benne

Shui Kuen, so good to see you back again, you were missed! I`ve been thinking about you lately.

I`m so sorry about your back, I can relate. I have herniated discs and they used to have me tortured. They`ve been good the last year or so, but then DH and I went to a baseball game a couple of weeks ago and the seats had no back support. I was in bed for days and couldn`t move! Can you take anything for it?? I hope it feels better soon. Give my regards to Andrzej!

Eileen.

Shui Kuen,
It is good to see from you again. I almost entered a note this morning to ask if you were all right whether anyone had heard from you because you had been unseen for so long. I was wondering how the alpaca stained glass sweater was coming? What did you buy? Daryl

Oh SK!!

I was worried about you-I asked Benne last week if she had heard from you! We missed you VERY much!

I know about sock difficulty---I had trouble with my boots for a long time. I hope you heal quickly.

We have missed you SO much!

Benne: it is a good feel to shop again. That is the therapy I need. The garden job, usually BB and I share. Now, he have to cut the grass all by himself. He is hands and knees with a garden chair and weeding for me....We need each other.
Hugs to you from both of us.

Eileen: the first week, I was unable to turn my body in the bed and out of the bed. Doctor said take pain killer, put frozen peas on the back often and don`t sit too long and walk and move around. I am much better now.
I heard that your knitting is published in a book. Can I see the picture of that sweater? Congratulation Eileen.

Daryl: No knitting had been done for a long while. Alpaca stained glass is in the box sleeping.
I got EZ`s new book, some 50-60 balls of alpaca merino wool which Sandra use for FB shawl, some eyelash, some organic cotton, some silk city cones (today`s offer and the bounce one)....
Daryl, your poncho is beautiful. Shui Kuen

You make such pretty things, I can`t wait to see what you make with your new stash! I am glad your back is doing better. I am a long time back sufferer - in fact we are trying to decide right now if I should or shouldn`t undertake very difficult surgery.

Shui Kuen,
I missed you, too and asked Benne if you were OK and maybe just going cold turkey on the yarn buying Stick Out Tongue!
Glad you are back, and I`m hoping your back is better very soon!

Dear SK,
So glad you are well enough to write us (not so sure about all the $$$$ heh, heh) Enjoy the new EZ - it immediately became one of my very favorite books to read and look at pictures.

I hope your back improves enough to let you chat, if not shop after this stash enhancement. Although I am lookig forward to seeing what you do with the alpaca -merino and the bounce, not to mention the Perle cotton. Anything in mind? Daryl

Thank you Sandra, I did write you an email earlier, it bounced back. Now I know you have a new address. I just wanted to have your opinion on that alpaca merino wool. I got quite a lot (100 balls all together), what am I going to do with them?

Daryl: I should not sit and knit for a while. Just have that buying sickness, nothing in mind for all the purchase.

So glad you`re able to post again. I am so sorry to hear about the back pain. I had problems, pain and headaches from my back for over 20 years, mostly due to being an accountant (or so my chiropractor said!).

I hope that you will be able to be patient while the healing goes on.

Thank you CatBookMom. Hope your back pain is all gone. Sitting too long can contribute to a lot of health problems. Take care!
