I do FB rather than blogging now. So much easier. I absolutely love it. Have experienced zero security issues and I love the security there. No one has access to your FB page unless you specifically allow it.

There has been a ton of hacking incidents recently on facebook that have cause a ton of problems for users! It`s easy for them to hack in and cause trouble.
Just what I`ve heard in recent days...

I ran into schoolmates from HE double hockeysticks. I have had no problems, but haven`t friended anyone accidentally, either.

I`m on facebook - family and friends. son just left yesterday for northern europe and will keep in touch on facebook - no need for him to have a list of email addresses to stay connected. He can PM or post to the group. Have been on for about a year without problems. Les

Me too. DD was in Brooklyn, NYC finishing up her degree. Excellent, instant communication, very reassuring. No issues with security whatsoever.

What kind of trouble? I`m not on, but my kids, sister, niece, lots of friends are. Seems like a very user friendly vehicle for keeping in touch with both people you are close to and those with whom you have enough contact to have some friendliness, affection, but don`t really know well enough to maintain correspondence. There will always be security issues, but if there are no addresses, phone numbers what kind of problems can be caused by strangers?

Here is my google search. I believe I heard about an issue on TV but I wasn`t paying attention as I have no intention in getting FB!

Their agreement involves their claim to ownership of everything you post on your facebook. Somehow that does not intrigue me. The time may come when I really have to have one, but if it does, there will be very little posted there.
