Need some help here. I`m knitting my Elann Lara yarn with my Harmony wooden interchangeable set of needles. I`m on a roll to finish a sweater and the join of the wooden needle has slipped just a wee bit out of the metal part. The Lara has many plies which like to stick in this gap. I have gently tried to twist the wooden part out without success so that I could glue it back in. Has anyone had this happen? If so what did you do? I would just send the tip back but I know it would probably take forever to get a new one and I`d lose my head of steam to finish this sweater. Les

`Morning, Les! I just "invited" you on Rav to join the KP group. There`s a couple of threads having to do with this. You may find some suggestions. Billie

Yes, I have had this happen to several of the Harmony tips and I had to pull them out and reglue the tips back in. You don`t have to send the tip back but contact them and ask for a replacement. I didn`t but I don`t use them much. What pattern and color are you knitting with the lovely Lara? I know what you mean about making the most of that head of steam. :)

Thanks, Billie for letting me know about the group. Will take a look. I am knitting Slinky Ribs from "Custom Knits" in the sapphire blue. I have knit the ribbed bodice down to the stockinette part and am just a few inches from the hem. I also partially knit the top down set in sleeves and added the rolled neckline so that I can try it on as I go and all things that may pull it up (sleeves and neck) are done so I get the length right. Thus, I am on the home stretch!
