Am I crazy to think that the "Cover sweater" would be just as good if not better if you left off the embroidered circles? It seems to be nicely fitted, but I am having flashbacks to seventh grade every time I look at it... T

lol. T, I thought the same thing. This issue didn`t do a lot for me but I can`t exactly complain about something free.

They are too far to the side to really do anything for the sweater. It reminds me of something I`ve owned, shape-wise, but I don`t like those circles. On the other hand, if you replaced the circles with those little pink cherry blossoms on that scarf---well, that sounds better already.

My least favorite issue so far. The circles need to go, the sleeves on the garden sweater are OK, but the body needs revising, most of the rest I just don`t get. However, it is better than the Knitters I picked up yesterday at the book store and free!!!

Good point. I`m a little surprised you even bought the Knitter`s.

Hmm, I like the lacy 2 year old sweater, immediately started plotting how to convert to fit a skinny 11 year old even though I know she wouldn`t wear a lacy light sweater as much as a pull over, but it so pretty!. I like the socks too. Daryl

I am loving the Anatolia but sigh....i don`t think i`d ever do anything except socks in an adult size on #2 needles... Also the lacy toddler cardigan is adorable. Otherwise...well nothing else is really turning my crank today. Lisa in Alaska

BY FAR the best thing about this issue is Shui Kuen`s shawl up in the top left corner!

The little girl lace sweater is my favorite of the lot. They`ve had better issues but I appreciate the articles and free patterns every issue. B2

They`re on a new server and I`m having trouble opening it. Anyone else or is it just me?

Moving very slow, though I did get some of the border info. I expect the server is just overloaded.

Thanks for the link. I saw it this morning. I like a couple of patterns. There are lots of accessories; of particular interest for beret/meret knitters, there is a meret-esque hat.

Theresa, those knitted earrings look like something you would come up with!
Good thing baby Morgana didn`t puke or poop over that cashmere/silk blend...LOL
Too many accessories for me in this issue and not enough really meaty projects.

Some interesting things here. I clicked on Mr Darcy to see that it`s knit with elann`s bulky HW. Made me want to knit it even more.

I have several handspun yarns that would work up nicely with the Citron. That may be the one I tackle next.
