I know awhile back you were interested in making this style for your DH. I especially like the shaping of the sleeve cap in this one.

I also like this one for myself in the same issue:

http://www.knitscene.com/issue/Fall-2008/Camelot-Sweater.asp, a tunic that is meant to flatter pear shapes, finally something that I can knit without changing the style to cropped!

I just bought my copy today and I`m eyeing that one along with a few others.

Nice issue. Much more to my taste that the new IK. Although, as usual, the galleries on Knitting Daily are helping to look at the sweaters with more interest.

Sandra, I have had to buy that issue twice already (I gave the first one as a prezzie to someone driving thru!) That sweater is going to happen before we roll into 2009!!!

Have you see the newest Creative Knitting-it has a nice modular vest on the cover? Keep your eyes peeled for that. (I am starting to like that magazine!!)

That Camelot sweater is nice. I went through the stash to see if I had anything that would work. The closest I came to in gauge and quantity was some Katia Pisco. Might work.

I almost bought it for the modular vest but I couldn`t see myself knitting anything else in that issue. Maybe I glanced through it too quickly.

Hey, I`ve got some Pisco too and in a light beige as well that would show up the lace! I was also thinking of doubling some stashed HW in Irish Moss to get close to gauge (19st x .72 = 13.68) but I usually don`t like double stranding yarn, will have to swatch!

Yes, Cheryl made me take a second look at that when she posted that she wanted to make that. I`ve got some kettle-dyed Araucania nature wool in wine that may look nice, subtle shadings, I`m hoping.

Hee, that`s three more projects to add to the queue! Now I need a priority determinator!
