Happy Birthday Shui Kuen!
It probably is no surprise, but we had a good time writing birthday haikus for you. Our contest winners were chosen totally at random (by my DH), and they are Marta and Jean. Trish was our speed writing winner!
I want to wish you the best of everything this year. I hope you have an early spring, and I hope BB springs for something delicious.

Oh, I was thinking about fresh asparagus!!!-it`s still too frozen over for you guys. Yours had to come from the market. I found some at the grocery last week, and my DH was surprised it was so good cooked at home (he just decided he liked it recently).
I keep a small amount of wild rice in the cupboard-I don`t really have a lot of experience with it (if it`s not short-grained and white, it`s unusual to me) but it`s good to switch it up!
