Who is going? I am finally feeling well again (after a too-long battle with a mighty virus going around) and thinking it would be fun to meet there. Anyone up to trying?

I`ve always sworn that if I lived close enough I`d go (it`d have to be Stitches East for me though) but now I`m seriously considering going to SOAR because it`s only about a two hour drive away. It would be my every-holiday-this-year present. lol.

I wasn`t planning on going but if there is an Elann meet-up I will go! (I`ll also have to make sure I have a sitter.)

It would be fun to meet there. I went in 2006 with a knitting friend from Vancouver, and we had lots of fun - and of course I bought lots of yarn, some of which is aging nicely in the stash. But I`m just not up for it this year; maybe in 2008??

Kelly, aren`t you in the LA area? We should plan a meet-up ourselves, and for that one, you could bring the kids, lol.

Barbara, I`m way north of LA--San Jose/Bay Area. I`ll let you know next time we plan a trip to Disneyland (although Lord knows, I`m in no rush to do that again soon.)

LOL! I went to D`land in 1987. Once was plenty for me. We live just over a hill from Universal Studios, and that I`ve been to a couple of times. It isn`t for such little kids as D`land and Knott`s Berry Farm is, but it`s fun.
Seems like Melanie is also in the San Jose/Bay area. We `almost` got together last year when LisaW and SmarieK and I met-up.
