in front of me in the Ravelry line. Can`t belive I signed up. I hardly have time to read this site. But the site has a gravity field like a black hole..... and it sucked me in.

LOL - I know what you mean! But I think it will be good just to be signed up so that when something explodes over there we can run over like everyone else.
I started looking at sock patterns, but I only got to page 7 out of 85 so far...

One other great thing about Ravelry is I can tell my older DS (who is on Facebook and for some reason won`t show me his page) well I`ve got something like it now and it`s only for knitters and crocheters!

I got on in this last week and WOW. There is a lot to see and do. I haven`t got any photographs of my stash or my projects finished or in progress, and getting those taken & posted is going to take more time than I`m interested in spending right now since I have lots of knitting going on. It doesn`t help that I was inspired to and did start two more projects this week based on my Ravelry cruisings!

Yes, Jan, I find too that Ravelry is great for making one want to start a new project, I`ve found a few perfect match-ups with yarn in my stash...e.g., Cobblestone not for my DH but great for my Jo Sharp Silkroad Tweed aran in Posie for *me* which has been languishing for more years than I care to remember!

I have Silkroad Aran Tweed "languishing" in my stash too! Why IS that? I think it`s because it`s so nice I`ve been wanting to save it for something "really good" whatever that is!
