did you hold 3 skeins together for it, maybe an idea for oldest daughter, since she wants a coat too and 2 seed stitch are impossible

I was going to ask the same question. Not clear to me if the Cuzco is triple stranded just like the orginal wool.

Hello,
Elann.com Cuzco is a Polar Weight (8 st/4") yarn and the pattern gauge is also 8 st/4" so one strand of Cuzco will be enough. The original pattern used a much lighter yarn.

Grace: Lorill answered your question. The yarn called for US13 to give you 2 stitches per inch. Perfect for the pattern. One strand through out. SK
