What a nice addition to your sampler the Marrakesh will be! I`m thinking really good gift scarves for it too.

Several summers ago Knitters featured a cute tank on the cover I think in the Takhi Chat. It was orange and could be worn with the low neckline in front or back. It is a quick knit and a cute pattern, if you have the back issue.

Amy, I recall that issue. Thanks for the enabling nudge!

I did it in white last go round and really liked it. I wish I had made it a tad longer, but I was a knitting newbie and afraid to modify.

A Saturday peek --- Oh my. The Viva was a Tuesday yarn from a while back. It knits up really nicely. It has good texture and the stretch would make it great for a tank. Re: the Soft Wool still hanging around I noticed the description says fluffy. It doesn`t really knit up fluffy. The specks in it give the fabric a tweed effect. Otherwise it is just like knitting up any other loosely spun yarn, except it is as its name suggests. Soft.

I am curious to know if those are Saturday peeks or Thursday peeks? It says "Saturday September 27th". Saturday is the 29th!?

I hadn`t noticed the date wasn`t right. The nice thing about knitting my samples into the log cabin squares is that I can go back to them when they are on these bag sales and see how they look knitted up. The viva is a nice summer yarn.

I`ve wondered about this yarn. I`ve been pretty good at resisting the bag sales (because they take up so much yarn space) but I might succumb on this cotton blend. It`s a good thing amber is not my color! Hear ya loud and clear, Ms. Weston!

Oh move over, Lisa, and quit hogging the bin. I am trying to reach a different color. ;-)

Oh Lordy, I am drooling! And as luck would have it I have to be at the US Department of Homeland Security on the 2nd when I could have been ordering merino silk, LOL!

They`ll be saving you from yourself, E! :)
I`ll have to get very busy every Tuesday in February, or I`ll be in big trouble with all that yarn.

Unfortunately I like too many of this months yarns. I`m going to have to stay busy for most of the month. See you all in March! PatQOC
