The kids are ecstatic.
It`s very pretty around here, but snow (any amount over one inch) is not a common occurence around here. Glad we don`t have to go anywhere. The whole city seizes up when it snows. Better to stay home. It`s supposed to keep dumping up to a foot!!!

Oh I`m estatic! It`ll keep snowing?! DD has a cup game way the heck over in Maple Ridge and I am not interested in driving the distance! From your report it sounds like it`ll be cancelled. Where I am over the bridge from you, it snowed late afternoon yesterday. I went out for dinner with friends at a local hang and it was slippery coming home. Right now it looks to be about a foot of snow.
Yay, just got a call, NO GAME. Now we can enjoy this snow right here at home.

Enjoy and stay cosy! Good day to test your hats scarves and mitts, eh? We just had about an inch or less overnight but it`s -25C. No wind tho. Les

Ummmm no, and not ever likely :) Did have a cool front come in and dropped the highs down to the 60s. Canada is supposed to send come cold next weekend. Too early to tell if it will make it all the way here.

Sounds like here --- the city seizing up thing. Happens about once or twice a year for us. It is about 65 and sunny today though. Enjoy the snow.

I can`t believe you don`t get that much snow! Send it my way! It had to be at least 60 degrees F here today.

Where do you all live?? Where IS the 60 F weather?? Being here in winterwonderland, I cannot imagine the world having warm weather.
It`s still snowing in the Vancouver BC area. A great day to sort through the house and load up the car with rummage. =) Thats what I`m doing. Hope to knit some tonight.

Around 70 today in Memphis. By late week, nighttime temps will dip into the 20s, which is plenty cold here for an overnight low.
We had enough snow one evening last December for the girls to build snowmen. I got lots of pics, as I was told by the neighbors that this was maybe a once-in-10-years event here. (Other parts of TN see snow much more regularly.) Then again, I understand it recently snowed - for days! - in Orlando, FL, so I guess ANYTHING is possible! (I wonder if Bri saw any of that in Tampa?) - LisaB

Our wx is supposed to be like Lisa`s this week, with lows in the 30s later this week. I keep praying for 30 days at 30 degrees-I saw a catepillar last week, that`s how messed up things around here have been!!!

No, but I wish we would have a great big snow. I LOVE snow! I`ll just look at your pic and wish, I guess. We are supposed to have snow flurries Thursday and Friday. Flurries-pfft!

Mm, I guess I got on the wrong thread. I was referring to snow in Florida!

I`m in Maple Ridge, we have about 5 or 6 inches here! Long as the roads are clear I love it.
