Wow, guys, I am overwhelmed by all the good & very specific wishes! (Some people have gotten into my head...hmmmm) Thanks so much to all. If you want to laugh, I posted a 50-ish old photo on my blog today. I did cast on my fiddleshead green SA WP shawl today. Something accomplished anyway.

Gosh Joan - I`m sorry I`m late bringing the birthday cake! Was working today and then called my out of town sister who shares your birthday - she`s sixty!! So, I just put on the shaved chocolate and it is ready. I used Bob`s eggs - had a hard time getting a dozen as the "girls" are not laying the way they do when there is more light in the day. It`s a Tirimisu which I started yesterday- the recipe is from Serafin`s in Seattle. I`ve made it in a trifle bowl with real Italian Ladyfingers, espresso, marscapone cheese, brandy and Kahluha. Be ready to pop into your jammies real quick!!

Joan - Bob is my buddy`s husband! We have a general store and he supplies the eggs and some of the beef we sell -his is longhorn and the other is local Dexter beef (low fat). His girls are so much fun to watch. (ya gotta have the right cooour of feathers to fit in- pecking order ya know. Every night someone goes to check on the "girls" and make sure they are on their roosts and all is well!! There are often kittens in the barn to play with.
