Hey thanks everyone!
Actually, I didn`t do anything except take the picture and post it on my blog. The online newspaper has a browser set to find new references to Tofino, and it flagged my blog. A woman from Westcoaster contacted me through the blog and asked if they could print the photo.
Ok...I didn`t make any money on it, but it will get viewed by thousands. And I did get the credit after all. :)
