I was cruising through my patterns today and found some good Karabella patterns for the new Kydd. There are sweaters and shawls. I also found a Paton`s pattern for those lovely sheer sweaters.

You can use the Super Kydd for any pattern calling for KSH, Alchemy Haiku, Douceur et Soie, Handmaiden Angel Hair... any of the laceweight mohairs. For, well, simply stunning patterns featuring KSH, click here:

I`m starting this, in Handmaiden Angel Hair:

Rowan has a zillion patterns for either KSH alone, or as a carry-along.
HTH, etc.... (can you tell I like this stuff; can you ask me how many balls of KSH are in my house?)

Amy, that is a gorgeous sweater! What color are you using and what lace stitch pattern is it? I knew about the Rowan and Sharon Miller/Heirloom Knitting patterns but I hadn`t seen your Alchemy pattern.
I thought a lot of people might be interested in single patterns and not want to buy a whole Rowan book or join Rowan. I have to check out the Alchemy yarns now. :-}

Amy Wow, that pattern is just what I had in my head for some KSH I scored on Ebay. Now I`ll be searching for the pattern. THanks for the post.

It is in an incredibly simple 8 row zig zig lace; the only pita is it`s lace on both sides, so 8 times on the back you have to P2tog through the back loops. I started it last night. I am making it in Angel Hair, which is an incredibly fine mohair handpaint, in a blue/aqua colorway (maybe Nova Scotia? Not sure). You can see Angel Hair here:

I spent my birthday money on 3 skeins of their Silk Cashmere 2 ply in Marine to make a shawl. Their stuff is pricey, but it is gorgeous! I bought the Angel Hair in Toronto last summer, when the exchange rate wasn`t so bad.
Alchemy patterns aren`t so readily available online; I had mine ordered through my LYS.

Amy, please be sure a post of picture of your finished sweater. That yarn looks incredible. I have some Sea Silk in the Nova Scotia colorway. I splurged too. :-}

KSH is really nice stranded with Baby Silk, too, so I`m betting the colors will go even better with Elann`s own Kydd!
