All your work is wonderful (especially Beavy!) and thank you so much for posting the Sierra pullover. I really like it.

Dang! You are super talented. You must knit like a machine. Beautiful, is that Beavy a pet? I love the posts thanks for sharing.

Marion: Thank you. I still have several outback mohair sweater to go. Do you use size 10 1/2 or size 11? I have been considering use larger size needles. How is yours doing? The mohair sweaters knit up fast, Isn`t it? Benne said that she got a lot done also.

I agree with Elaine in that you must knit as fast as a machine and with Marion that all of your work is just lovely.

I particularily like the coat from the Outback Mohair.

Shui Kuen,

Lovely work up to your usual gorgeous standards. I love the mohair cardigan, it looks like a sweater you would wear lots. The colors in your top down sweater are very pretty. And you know how I feel about little Beavy.

Shui Kuen,
you sweaters are great..looks like you have been busy as a beaver (ugh) .. Is the outback mohair scratchy? I`d like to try it but am afraid of the itch factor.

Shui Kuen,
Beautiful sweaters! I love that Outback Mohair cardigan, nice color and fits you very well. What kind and color DK yarn did you use? How difficult was it to knit the mohair, and were you able to get by without any frogging? Did you use a pattern?
Beavy is so cute. Is he an orphan that you rescued?
We have a pet house rabbit. Most people can`t see how he merits our love and devotion, but he is like our third child!

Shui Kuen-

Great fishing buddy pictures! Very cute!

Your sweaters are absolutely gorgeous. Did you carry your Outback with a lighter color? It seems much lighter than mine!

I am curious about how often you hold your sweaters up in the mirror when you knit-you always seem to get a perfect fit!

My goodness Shui Kuen, not only do I love looking at your beautiful sweaters, but I find the setting of your pictures absolutely stunning ! It looks like you live in a little piece of heaven right here on earth. I think you should put all of your pictures in a book to be published and I for one would be proud and thrilled to display it on my coffee table!

Keep knitting
Cheryl

PS - my kids loved the pictures of your little beaver!

Shui Kuen - your sweater pictures are beautiful enough to be in books, definately! Do you like the way your Sierra Pullover fits? I havet the book and I have been tempted to knit that sweater, but I was afraid it would make me look short and dumpy because of the bulk at the armholes...

I don`t have that book. I knitted that by looking at the picture. My sweater is a set-in sleeves, not drop shoulder. I think raglan might be even better. You can try that.

My Mohair cardigan is finished, I just haven`t put all the pieces together yet, I used size 11 needles, on your recommendation, and they seemed to be just the right size. I knit the mohair together with the Gjestal wool dk. I`ll post a pix as soon as I put it together.

Gorgeous sweaters Shui Kuen, I can`t believe how fast you are. I would be interested in knitting the Sierra sweater myself. And I agree about the beautiful backgroud in all of the pictures, this would make a great book.

Shui Kuen, I am even more impressed with the sweater - I have been afraid of making set-in-sleeves. Maybe I should try!

Sandra: The DK is from my stash - NZ 50%mohair and 50% wool called "luxury". A similar color green as bayou. The finished sweater color doesn`t change at all but enhanced. Mohair sweater is 10 times easier that my top-down because of the big needles. It is a simple design, I didn`t use any pattern and no frogging.

Awww, Shui Kuen, I can`t believe how adorable little Beavy is!! I haven`t shown my kids because I know they will make me go looking for one!! Are the babies called pups? How many in a litter? Was the mom protective?
I just love your Outback sweater. I`d love one just like that. looks so cozy. It would be perfect as a winter "Chinook" sweater for these parts. Your top down is coming along beautifully. Do you like the technique?
I can`t believe you figured out the "going to the cottage" style sweater from a picture. You ARE good!! I started one last week and then discovered I didn`t have enough yarn. Will do it another time as I love that pattern.

I like the way the neck on your top-down came out... the shape worked out very well. And is it the decrease spacing that`s making the shape of the stripe? Very nice! can`t wait to see it all done!

The outback mohair... gosh! I love your description: "size 10 1/2 needles - very fluffy, soft and warm" ...fast AND warm... can`t beat that! Makes me want to do a top-down out of the outback Mohair!

Sierra Pullover is really nice, too... thanks for showing us a better view of the whole thing!
