I seem to remember one at my library. Maybe out of print? I will try to get the name next time I go. It wasn`t the Lavold book.

I was able to find the first 3 B Walker Treasuries in hardcover editions on eBay, for less than the current paperback versions. I just had to be a bit more patient, but I set up an ongoing search and found them all in a month or two.

My bad. Didn`t mean to correct you :) I ment that the book I knew of had Viking knots rather than the requested Celtic knots :)

BW`s charted book has quite a few knots.

Nope, cannot take the credit for that. Mine is a range of projects, so nothing will be displayed until they are all done, I`m assuming. Can`t say any more ;-)

I`m not going to begin to pretend I can catch up on reading all the posts here or add on to old threads, but I want to tell you how much I love your Moonlight At Her Window sweater!

How did you like the yarn? I just loved that yarn... it is so heavenly soft (well, except for bleach-white, but that is understandable) and I found I kept going back for a little more of it, and wishing I`d started getting it right off, so I could`ve picked more different colors of it... I`m so excited to see the sweater you made with that yarn!

Cables! Gosh, I never woul`ve thought of using that yarn for cables, but now that I look at your sweater and think of how soft and fluffy cables can be, it strikes me as the PERFECT thing to do with that yarn!

Is it for YOU to wear? Tell me you aren`t giving this one away! Oh, I`m betting it`s going to be divinely comfortable to wear... that`s the sort of thing that would make you want to take a shower with your clothes on, so you could wash the sweater and your bod without actually ever having to leave the sweater... er... o.k., maybe not. O.K., sorry for that image.

Please say it`s for you, and please post a picture of yourself wearing it when it`s all finished. Er... make that two pictures... one has to be from the back, with your hair brushed straight down, as far as it will go, because nary a week goes by without my little Anne asking how long I think Eileen`s hair has gotten and whether or not she`s lost her marbles and gone and chopped it off again or not.

Thank you, Shui Kuen - Christopher and I often talk and think about you both. I hope you busy summer, entertianing Eoropean friends and workinmg in your beautiful garden, is coming to an end soon - with cooler weather and knitting just around the corner!

I haven`t been knitting or chatting much recently - I need to post more to try to get back to normal, LOL.

Your knitting, as usual SK, is exquisite - but that deserves it`s own post!

Eileen.

Did you get enough of the GN so that you have enough to finish what you are going to make with it? I think that there was enough there for a small sweater. But I`m not sure what you are going to use it for.

I`ve been thinking of you lately and hoping that you are feeling better and getting plenty of rest and knitting.

Dear Eileen,
Thanks for the formula for calculating different gauges of yarn for the B&B. I sat down with your post and all I have left are the sleeves to resize. I`ll be ready to start once I get something from LYS this afternoon. I really appreciate it. I would`ve made bad sizing decisions without your directions.
Hope you are well! Bri

E,

Congratulations on the baby results! I know that is a very stressful time indeed. I`m glad that everything went well. I`m hoping that you are feeling better and able to get some rest inbetween being sick.

Also Congrats on the shawl and MAHW entry in the state fair. I`ll bet that you gave that other lady a run for her money this year!

I missed the deadline for the entry into the Michigan state fair. I was going to enter "Twinkle, Twinkle little star" shawl that I designed as well as the sweater that I made for DH.
