Actually, I ordered the last of the blue blood red, 8 balls, which should be enough for a sleeveless top or maybe enough for one with short sleeves. What are you thinking of making?

SandraD: I have no idea what to make. I am a size 32, but like to wear clothes very loose. In winter, all my sweaters are 42inch. In summer, I don`t know. Never make anything for summer. Right now, I am still with a polar fleece on my body. My DH thinks that cotton is not practical here in this northern country. He really pulls a pot of cold water on my head. I am going to make one anyway, haven`t decide what?

Hope you don`t mind my jumping in... :-) I have to disagree with the thought that cotton is impractical -- I live in Canada too -- because it`s something that can be worn all year round! In the winter, you can layer with a cardigan or bigger wool sweater on top; in the summer, you can wear it on its own.
I bought lots of Lara too -- I`m thinking of a striped sleeveless shell (using several of those gorgeous colours) and/or long-sleeved light sweater. I would really like to make something with lace in it, but I`m a bit concerned that the fact the yarn splits easily will make this difficult.

Actually I`m thinking of using the yarn for a dressy shell to wear during the winter holiday season--I`d be wearing a suit jacket over it. The deep red color that I picked plus the sheen of the yarn may be more suitable for winter than summer, anyways. I have a pattern in a crochet book ("Crocheted Sweaters" by Susan Huxley) that uses this same yarn for a dressy beaded shell. I`m a novice crocheter, don`t even have the size C hook that it requires (my smallest hook is E), so don`t know that I`ll attempt it, but it is a possibility!

Well Shui Kuen,
I`m glad you got some cotton, BB will like it if you like it. ;-} It`s always fun to use a different type of yarn for a change of pace. What color did you get? Do you know what you`ll make with it? It could be a very elegant sweater for when you play dress-ups. lol

Hi Sandra,My DH had been managing my e-mail while I am away, he filed half of them in my knit folder, and half unknown sender into the trash. I just wonder he blocked your address or not. Will you try to send a hello to me and see what happen. I found 10 HW color assignment related topic in trash and over 10 in my folder. It took me a while to understand what is going on. This was too funy! I hope you get it all straightened out, but it sounds like just exactly what would happen if I left my DH to manage my email! And the funniest part, if you were to ask what the heck he thought he was doing, he would probably explain some actual system of working that he was using where he actually thought he was being helpful!

No problem; glad you are back and HW color card is all settled now. You will get an email from me when I send my samples out; hopefully by Friday. Sorry for lateness in reply; MY DH had,unbeknownst to me, unplugged the DSL filter from bedroom phone which caused our internet to be down for two days ;-p!
