Hi!
Thanks all-this was a fun pattern to work! I plan to do the back and sleeves with the Bond. I am REALLY excited about it, especially since I accidentally picked her favorite color (not sure if it`s really her favorite or she just loves to say it!) Christmas happens when Gram`s package show up, don`t you know?
Something about a nice yarn like this lends itself to a "blank slate" approach-I had ordered the yarn way before I knew what what going onto the sweater, but the light color lent itself to the pattern.

Tell us about the sleeves you are planning... I keep thinking the castle would look good with puffy sleeves... what kind are you going to make? That`s the perfect thing to make the back with a bond! Boy, that castle looks great in that color and that wool!!!!!! THANKS FOR NOT WAITING AND FOR SHOWING US RIGHT NOW!!!!!!! I MEAN IT!!!! And, later, we will be wanting pictures of DGD wearing it, too, of course!

Chick-
My lovely spokesmodel is 1500 miles away, so I will be doing this with blah old drop sleeves, a roll neck (because she`s 2 and who wants a fight to put a sweater on) and ribbed cuffs-I am ballparking the size on the large side, but the cuffs can turn up. I do have a pattern for a Dynasty Joan Collins puffy sleeved kids number from the 80s, if Anne needs it.
