I am knitting a sweater out of Pingouin, PA20. It is called 3- Louisiane. I have finished the back and two sleeves and need about 4 or 5 balls to finish the front. My guage is correct yet I ran out of yarn. I am using superwash wool that was suggested by Elan. Has anyone had this problem? The yarn I am using is equal to the yardage of the original yarn.

Ah Charlene-

It happens-I made a vest with a suggested yardage of 450 yards, SHORTENED it front and back by 3" in the arm and neck area, and I STILL needed 475 yards. I`ve found that the yarn companies and pattern drafters aren`t always right. What is the yarn, and have you put it out on the swap page? Perhaps someone has some extra?

Is that sweater `Forestry` from the Fall 08 Vogue Knitting? Cuz I am in the middle of making it and I hope my turns out as good as this one did!
