Wow!!! It just amazes me what talented people gather here and how differently people use the same yarns!
Thanks everyone for posting! Keep up the good work!

Ahhh-

see what happens when you turn your back? Patricia, where did you find the candleflame pattern, and what yarn is that?

I love the Outbacks, good going Shelley-mine`s nowhere near picture ready!

Gotta love the Chicklet doing her little chicklet thing with the Sonata-Chickie, it looks great, that`s the pattern you posted?

Martha, your DD is quite the little cutie in that sweater! Good job! I love the hat, is it felted?

Absolutely gorgeous projects ladies! Patricia, we are having a thunder storm and I wish I had that shawl to wrap myself up in! What a nice design and pretty yarn.
MacChick - very pretty sweater and tank. You embroidered on top of knit cables? I`m squinting and thats what I think I see. Neat effect! Will have to try the "one ball tank" for my great niece or cousins daughter. Really cute!
Martha: Your adorable baby girl looks great in her little fairisle and hat. Aww!
I love being able to see all of the greeat projects! We`re sure lucky to be in the age of the digital camera - just gotta get me one!!

Wow! You guys knock my socks off!! Well, you would if I were wearing any. Okay, you knock my Isotoners off!
Every single project is beautiful and so are the children. It is amazing how many totally differnt projects popped up all at once. Good knitters, good jobs.
Shelmack, I would have never considered putting the Mohair and Goa together but it looks great.Ditto the Magic Grid. Beautiful knitting.
Patricia, youf shawl so pretty in that yarn. You know every time you wear it someone will try to buy it. Your stitches are so fine and precise.
Martha, what a little cutie in that sweater, great job matching with the hat. And the colorwork is so pretty. I`m terrified of it,kudos to you.
MacChick, what can I say? MacChicklet`s light purple sweater is fabulous and it must have taken forever! Beautiful job and the little top is a real creative hit. I may have to make DGD a larger one, especially since the Sonata`s back.

Once again, thank you for showing us all these wonderful things.

Bets I found the pattern at a free website, but it had a few errors in it. The yarn is what I salvaged from the Not Your Mother`s Suit Coat that I frogged a few weeks ago. Thank you for the kind words.

Absolutely wonderful! Ladies you are sooo talented. I love the candelflame shawl Patricia and MacChicklet looks dressed to the nines, she is so luckly to have such a talented mom. I love the Outback mohair with the Schachenmayr Goa, Shelley, you could wear that to the Opera or ballet, it has a very rich look to it. And of course, Martha, your little one is to die for, she is sooo cute in that sweater. Again, I am inspired by all the talent here.

Patricia, I have really ejoyed watching that shawl progress! That stitch pattern has given it depth and, it appears, a warmth that goes beyond the average shawl. Now you know what we all need for the final picture... somebody actually wearing it!

Shelley, love the scarf, but the sweater back is what really blows me away! I just cannot WAIT to see this one finished! PLEASE show more updates and a final picture when it`s all done!

Not felted, but sewn together from cut squares of recycled knit garments - like a patchwork quilt. The top of the hat is a round circle, and the sides are squares sewn together in a circle and then sewn to the top of the hat. The inside of the hat is done exactly the same way, so that you could actually turn it inside out if you wanted, but the inside is much plainer and not as pretty. I`ve been saving aside some old store-bought sweaters, and someday I may attempt to duplicate it.

HA HA-afraid the "let`s get outta here" plans have been foiled. The bus was sucked into the black hole that is my stash corral.

I`m a little far behind posting but I want to say that the sidebar projects keep me motivated and inspired. Great hat, Jayne. Billie, your Kiri is beautiful. And Mary and Evelyn, your bags are gorgeous. I am a little felting impaired so I`m in awe. :-}

I`m with you on that too Benne! The bags are fabulous, I can`t imagine something like those coming from my washing machine, as well as adding the artistic embellishments. And Jayne, very cute hat, looks like you had your "thinking" cap on while you were hard at work editing :-).
