Strike another one up on the "I would have NEVER thought to use that pattern" list. That looks great-I would have never thought to blanket stripe it like that.
Wow, I`m jumping up and down like a little kid-I can`t wait for mine to come in.

Wow! Please tell me that you didn`t just make that sweater since the turino went on sale. I feel like a slug! It is just gorgeous! What a classic style. You`re going to love it. I didn`t buy any of that yarn but it was my fav. of the 3 offered as it is so soft. Love the muted shades too. Now you have to divulge which pattern you used! Les

I will divulge my secret. I made it on my brother bulky knitting machine. I did the rib by hand but it only took 2 days to make. I love my knitting machine. The pattern was inspired by the elann newsletter with the swatches. The colours looked so good all together. I just used a basic raglan cardigan pattern and did the ribs 2 rows of each colour and then the body of the sweater 24 rows of each colour. I used 6 colours. Glad you like it.

Shelley,
That`s so exciting for me to hear! I just ordered my Bond and I`m frothing at the mouth for it to arrive. That`s just the sort of thing I think a machine is great for. The stockinette and garter put me to sleep. Thanks for letting us in on your secret weapon. ;-}

This is another playful one similar to Marion`s vest. I love it so much, I have to have a 6 color sweater one day. Shui Kuen

Shelley, The cardigan looks great! Thanks for divulging the secret :-) to your fast knitting, too. The black trim works wonderfully as a finishing accent and the ribbing looks like it has just the right amount of pull-in factor. Keep posting, love your work! Sandra

Very pretty! I showed my DH, and he is on my case. I have a knitting machine - I think it is a Singer if I remember right. It has been packed away for years!! He has always told me it is foolish to spend so much time hand knitting - maybe he is right??? Yours sure turned out great!! Love the colors. Cheryl
