The west of the Rockies contingent has spoken-what about the rest of you? SEA-TAC/VANC is fairly central/affordable for many of you-but how about you quiet people?
DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS? Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta (heck, Montreal-except I don`t speak French, but if no one laughs at me, I`ll try and muddle....)????

I looked at the Vancover site, Thetis Island(sp?) It looks fantastic. But if we are thinking of having an East Coast event as well, I still think Pennsylvania is a good place for similar type retreats. If there is an interest in PA, I would be glad to check it out for places.

I`m game for anything as long as my DH will be home to look after the kids! (as for Montreal, it is a beautiful city and French is not necessary).
Waiting for an outcome Cheryl

HI! I just wrote a note to a related topic, but here`s a recap. Sure! We can and should have all the swap (or whatever) meets we want. Wasn`t it fun reading and thinking about the 4 knitting crazed ladies who got together in MD? I could just imagine all they were describing -- even the massive water tower. The continent is too big so let`s just have fun! And enjoy reading about others having fun! Happy knitting. Jamie

Oh bless you Jamie-
I was going nuts thinking about how to make it equitable for 26 people in 2 different countries and it was making me crazy.
