Ann,
I was under the impression that you prefer we not speak specically about upcoming yarn offerings, giving the name, etc. Is this correct? You have such a great website and I`m sure we all want to follow your wishes concerning the much-anticipated yarns. Don`t want to mess up a good thing!
Thanks,
Benne

Really??? I wasn`t aware of this etiquette before, if it`s there! Sorry about that! BTW, I love the fact that Ann`s weighing in and joining in our conversations more! I`m always wondering, too, if that`s Ann pictured on the beach with a cables and lace cardi on...

Eileen.

Yeah, but if we spill the beans ahead of time about those special treats on Tuesdays, those who don`t subscribe to the newsletter might snap up all that yummy yarn right out from under us after we give it all that good press. Horrors! ;} About those *almost* anything subjects, we`ll try to behave. :}

It`s a very pale peach - definitely not a pink.

Patricia,

I bought some of the Gjestal blush and it is a lovely color. I`m thinking about getting more and I am not a peachy kind of person. I know you can think of a hundred answers to that! lol

Benne I recently bought some mohair and it doesn`t go very well with what I had planned to use it with. Here is a link to the mohair could you please look at it and tell me if you think it will go with the blush/

Patricia,
If the colors on my monitor are true I think the mohair may be too yellow for the blush. I held a skein to the screen and I wasn`t very pleased with the result. I have some Colinette mohair. Let me look at what I have and see if I find a color that looks well with the blush. I can also go to the Uniquekolours.com website and take a look. I`ll get back to you soon.

Thanks Benne. It is yellowish and that is why I thought that it would work with indigo, but it doesn`t. It looks awful

Patricia,

I have twilight, primavera and chamois and they all look good with the blush. The primavera is very light shades. The twilight has peach shades, some pinks, small amount of blue and gold. The chamois hs cream, dark blue, rust, and peach. The chamois would contrast more than the other two colors I have, a little more dramatic. Can I send you samples of the blush and the mohairs that I have so you can see for yourself? The color you choose would depend, of course, on the effect you are going for. If you would like me to send them to you, e me at benneferrell@mindspring.com and I send them right out.

Oh Benne you are so kind. I will look at those colors on line and decide. Thank you for your offer and your help. I have some primavera in skye it is very pretty and I don`t normally like shades that light.
Thanks again.

Just let me know and I`ll be glad to zip some samples out to you. I love the Colinette mohair but it is pricey. What project do you have in mind?

I was wondering if you knew when you would be getting any more of the book `Knit, A Personal Handboook`.

We re-order books every Friday, Heather, and then, provided they`re not backordered with our supplier, they take about 2 weeks to come in.
