Those socks are beautiful! Once again, a great job with your knitting, such pretty lace. They look so soft too. Benne

Hi!
Beautiful job Shui Kuen...I was thinking wistfully today about how I don`t do many cables-it`s way too warm to do those marvelous sculpted sweaters like you do...and then you come up with something GORGEOUS and portable! Do you get to keep these for yourself, or are you getting ahead in the gift game? bets

Shui Keun - Those are just the best!! I want to put them on. How about naming them "Silver Islet" socks?!! (name of a small islet in Lake Superior - source of silver in 1800`s - in Shui Kuen`s neck of the woods.) Les

Thank you everyone. Both Merino and Alpaca are indeed very soft.I really have good time working on those socks. Les, I love your suggestion: name them "Silver islet socks". All the socks will be gifts for my mother, sister and sister-in-law. Shui Kuen Kozinski
