Does anyone know a good yarn of possible cotton/linen that would give me this gauge? I have a pattern that calls for Maggiknits cotton/linen and I can`t find it anywhere. I really want to make this pattern. It was in a Vogue Knitting magazine Winter 2002. The phone numbers in the ad for Maggiknits do not work. Please help.

Hi bella-bruni,
I checked on the web and saw that Maggiknits.com`s website is due soon. There are several shops that sell her kits and some sell the yarn by the bag. Do a google search and you might find your yarn. You could also check some of the yarn manufacturers websites and find a compatible yarn. knitrowan.com has linen and cotton yarns but I don`t if they`ll work for your gauge. If I think of anything else I`ll post here. Benne

Well, if you`re not in a hurry, I would hold out for awhile and see what wonderful yarns are going to be in Elann`s "Endless Summer Collection." We know they are going to be to-die-for wonderful, and I`m betting there`s going to be at least one that`s a cotton/linen blend.

Thank you Benne, I`ll check out that site. I did find one place since that carries it. Very costly. Would like to find a compatible gauge less costly. I guess I`ll keep searching. Thanks again. Bella
