Can anybody remember what the gauge is if you knit two strands of baby silk together? Also - what size needles? Thanks - Corinna

Hope that this is helpful to you. Gauge: 28 st/4 inches 3.25 mm (US 3)
multiply the gauge, the stitches per 4 inches, by .72 to get the gauge of 2 strands of the yarn per 4 inches.

Do I use the same size 3 needles or go up on the needle size?

I do not know. What I would do is swatch using 2 strands according to my pattern gauge.

Soooo... you still have some Baby Silk left, huh? Where, exactly, do you live, again? And what room do you keep the Baby Silk in? And What time is everyone in the house fast asleep? And what is the quickest way to get to the room with the Baby Silk when everyone is asleep? C`mon... enquiring minds want to know...

Yes I do! I have the peridot and september leaf. I bought it but haven`t decided what to do with it yet. If you promise to come prune the rest of the vineyard for me - it`s yours (after you finish pruning of course)!!!!!!!

September Leaf? You mean Lakers Gold? I love the idea that if I trim off some branches and vines, I get the "leaf"!!!
Have you seen this Twin Set? I`m thinking the cardigan part of it would be really lovely in either the silk or the cashmere... (Austermann Stricktrends 012 - Designs 35 and 36)... now you have me looking at patterns on Elann all the time, too... as if yarn was not enough!

That twin set is beautiful. But I couldn`t do it in the Baby Silk. I swatched it up and it`s itchy in sensitive areas to me. I need to find a pure silk! Yah that`s what I need to do!!! I get lost in the patterns section all the time!!! lol!
