I just received my Ram Wools spring/summer catalogue. They are a shop in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada where I used to go when we visited my in-laws in Wpg. There are some really inspiring designs in this issue - fashionable yet practical (one can always knit a top a little longer to HIDE the tummy!)They have a web-site www.ramwools.com with an online catalogue or you can request a snail mail catalogue to read in the bathtub.

I have ordered from Ram Wools and have got some beautiful stuff. (It wasn`t cheap, mind you). I love their catalogue; it is like paging through a magazine. I hope mine will arrive soon!

I love to LOOK at their catalog, but kinda got my nose out of joint when they started pricing everything in USD. It stopped being a good price then.

Mine came today! Perfect for getting one in the mood for spring...I might just pull out a rainbow tank that I quit working on last summer in favor of an Einstein coat. So many projects so little time!

Whatdaya mean. Even tho it`s a Canadian site and I`m in Canada, I have to click the button to convert prices to CDN dollars!! ;-}
I ordered the Garnstudio "Drops" pattern book for the "cable trim jacket" knit in cotton, which is similar to the casual cables on this site but looks a little more fitted, or is it the model. It is a yummy chocolate brown in the pic. and I bought the Schachenmayr "Inspiration" pattern book for the "Scaletta Top" which is in an acrylic/rayon. Had a call from them yesterday afternoon telling me that the books haven`t arrived yet - will be another 5-10 days. Nice that they called. No, it`s not a site for bargains but it sure has nice things!!
Lesley - who is twitching because she just discovered that the coffee pot is on the fritz - as her mom used to say (where did that come from - probably not politically correct is it)
