The only thing I`ve run into is that there`s not a lot of "give" to it. Wool is fairly elastic, but silk is a lot more like rayon or cotton, and not all that stretchy.

Thanks B. I have been playing around with a rather ugly color of silk yarn. I found that I have to hold the yarn a bit more taut than usual. I have also found that I like using the Turbo needles with silk. I have tried the different Bates needles and baboo needles. Turbo allows me to hold the yarn taut and still have the sts slide off the needle effortlessly.
