Please Help!!! I am trying to find a source for instructions on bias knitting. If you know of a source or know how to knit on the bias I would be very grateful.

I checked my library and couldn`t find anything specific beyond increasing at the beginning of a row and decreasing at the end of it (or the other way around). Sorry I couldn`t find more, hopefully there are others out there with more resources/experience than I have. Good luck!

Have a look at Nancie Wiseman`s book "Knitted Sweaters for Every Season". The book concentrates on four techniques, of which diagonal (bias) knitting is one - 29 pages of a lesson and patterns. Other topics are slipped and mosaic stitches, interlocking squares and diamonds, and short rows, following the same format of a lesson and patterns. Elann has it in stock. It`s an excellent book, well worth the investment. Alice

Winter 97/98 Vogue Knitting should have the article. Maybe you own it, or can find it in a VK book at the library?
Good luck!
