Good Morning all,
I have a Berroco pattern that suggests this yarn http://www.berroco.com/shade_cards/pure_pima_sh.html Would Elann Lara be an appropriate substitution. if there are any other suggestions, I would really appreciate your feedback.

Hi Debbie,
I looked at the Berroco yarn and I'm not sure but it looks like a cabled cotton to me. Elann's Sonata is a DK weight cabled cotton that I've used and like very much. I also love the Lara but it is not cabled. It has lovely drape and softness. I think I would base my choice on the pattern. What pattern are you going to make?

I agree with Benne that Sonata looks closer to this yarn. It's very dependable. Great colours, too.
