Thanks, Les! I had a good day, had a birthday haircut and was outside in the sunshine most of the day. It was warm and the first sunny day in what felt like forever. I really wished you had been here to help me celebrate and make me a Stilton cheesecake.  I lay in bed last night and thought about gardens and vegetables to plant. Be nice to get my hands dirty in the soil again. Wish I could see you too.

Yes, the gardening bug hit me last night, too. I had a Gardens West mag from the library that I took to bed...dozed off thinking about using sunflowers as support poles for pole beans!

Thank you so much, Jamie and SK! It really was a good day, and your good wishes for me really mean a lot. We have been friends for a long time now, years! It really is amazing how long we have been meeting here for friendship and knitting, it seems like only yesterday we all started chatting here. I hope to be turning up more and more often.
I hope the coming year is full of beauty, lovely knitting, good health and lots of fun for all of my friends here!
