Okay, several of you may have received a strange email from me tonight. I was attempting to put together a list of people for Thom to email after my surgery is over on Thursday. I decided to change it to just a couple of people and was going ask them to spread the word. Unfortunately, I failed to operate my newly upgraded email program correctly and emailed everyone on the list. I`m sorry, you must think I have lost my mind. I haven`t, but this is a very good example of why people on pain meds should not send important letters or messages.
Thom will be letting at least ONE of the upteen people on that list know how things went, he promised he would. ;)

My Dearest Benne: Please don`t worry, we all understand. BB and I are sending you ALL THE BEST WISHES. You will be recovering fast and playing with your dogs, watching your birds and ducks in no time. I am sure Thom will tell us all the good news tomorrow. You are a brave and wonderful lady. A lot of hugs from both of us. Love, SK

Oh, Benne, now`s your chance to be crazy as a loon and have a good excuse!! You`re made of tough stuff, and I know you`ll be in good hands tomorrow. Be sure to keep those nurses in line at the hospital after surgery. Hugs for a speedy, uneventful recovery. XX00 Les

Good morning, kids! I am still laughing at myself about that email, I`m just glad I stopped putting names on the list about halfway through. I realized it would be easier to contact a couple of folks and have them spread the word and post here rather than have an email with ALL of my elann buds on it. I am made of pure logic. HA!
I will be fine, this is the same surgeon`s office as last time, same hospital, and not as dangerous as last time. Plus I have a new haircut and pedicure with OPI red on my toes so I`ll be spiffy too. :)
I love you all and appreciate all your kind thoughts, supplications, candles and prayers on my behalf. I have to get my suitcase packed, throw in some knitting (to look at if I don`t feel like knitting) and do some laundry. My surgery has been moved to 12 noon CST, I`m calling it High Noon. :)
Love, Benne

Wah-wah-wahhhhhhh (Good Bad and Ugly music)
I expect you to have yarn bandoliers slung over your shoulders. I hope you are feeling spiffy, and singing "Oh Stagger Lee" or something similarly peppy.
Kick butt!
