Hello, My name is Sharon and I am fron Lenoir, NC. I have just started knitting after an absence of 20 years--and then I only knit 2 sweaters. My problem with knitting is that I get "stuck" and have no where to turn for advice--so I am anxious to join this forum. Also, there are no yarn shops within a stone`s thorw, so I have to order yarn from the internet, and look forward to seeking advice regarding my purchases. It is a pleasure to discover this wonderful web site. Sharon Lenoir, NC

Hi Sharon,
It`s great you`re back to knitting. I too didn`t knit much for a few years but it`s so much fun with all the wonderful new yarns and this group adds to the fun. You have now officially opened Pandora`s Box. Good luck with your projects! Benne

Pretty amazing and not funny to claen: every morning I woke up only to find about 1 mm of sand on my living room floor! the good news is that harmattan equates with cooler tempera

oops press the wrong key, those french keyboards are not yet masterred ! ..relatively cooler temperatures as I was saying so that I finally got my needles out. I am knitting an open work sweater by Norah Gaughan from spring 2004 IK, using Plymouth Turino silk. Each time I am reminded of you ladies and all the fuss about the silk spit that I can now appreciate first hand!! It is coming out great though and I hope to post some pictures once it is finished. That is all for today Have a great day As it might take another month before my coming back here again, you may write to me at massinga_m at yahoo dot fr if you wish see you there !!!

The Harmattan season must be pretty hard on the eyes. I guess everything gets a sand scrubbing eh? How is your work going? Let us know what it is you are working on with your job. Glad you are able to check in now and again, Moussie. and don`t worry too much about that spit! Les

I`m so glad to see that you were abel to check in. Cleaning sand would not be a fun thing at all. But I`m glad you`re well and knitting again. Be safe and enjoy the cooler weather. Heather
