Ah...tattoos...is he an "ink addict" your DH, Grace? I`m reading a book right now by John Irving. The main character`s mother is a tattoo artist, so I`ve been learning a lot about that. I`ve thought about getting one myself.

ALl this heartache over my son (read my bio) finally motivated me into getting my first one, Tom is huge inkaholic, he is 65% covered and everyone has very special meaning and intent. I have meant to read that book but haven`t yet, maybe over vacation!

You`re welcome! Although I have enough for a couple of shawls or tops, plus several scarves, the deep pink, the purple and the silvery gray, the close-out price on that was SUCH a bargain, I was reluctant to let it sit there unwanted. I`m glad you were able to give it a home!

I think you would like the book a lot! I`m reading it very slowly (cause I knit more).
Yes, I`ve gone through so much change in the last four years, that I want one. I have a friend who wants one too, so maybe we`ll go together.

I am another John Irving fan & recently finished the book. I made myself read it slowly. Loved it. Cate

I, too, am a John Irving fan, but was reluctant to be one, as he is not typical of my taste in "literature". I`d have to say now that he is my favorite contemporary author. I LOVED his latest book.
