Those all look great. I think my top pick would be the Big Girls book....I really liked Moreno`s knitty pattern with the big flowers on it. And she`s very funny. They are out of it here at elann...hopefully they will get more soon!

Emily,
I like the Inspried Cables book. It came out earlier this year. I looked at Benne`s and had it in my hand again yesterday. First big teaching check and it`s mine!!

Hope all is well. Let`s touch base sometime soon about things and what you are knitting, of course!!
Bri

I haven`t seen Knitting Nature, but you should check out the great sweater that Grumperina (http://www.grumperina.com/knitblog) made from that book, using - ta da! - the Korfu from last month! The pentagons around the yoke are just great.

I`m not a Big Girl (okay, pipe down ya`ll- I do TOO wear Big Girl panties and I act like a grown-up at least 10% of the time!) and I think this book is good for everyone. Wish these designs had been out there for me to knit for my mom, she would have loved them. I bought it as a gift for someone and darned if I don`t want to keep it because the designs are great and the fitting helps are fantastic for everyone. But, being the Big Girl that I am, I will give it to the intended recipient with only a little pouting. ;-}
Benne

I agree about Big Girl Knits. The fitting information is helpful to everyone and the patterns are va va voom. I am going to teach a class this summer based on the book because I like it so much.
Mason-Dixon doesn`t seem as essential. I am just not going to knit so many blankets even though the examples in the book are inspiring.
I am itching to start Bombshell but I need to finish the sweater I am making first.
Cate

I just got Big Girl Knits, which may not be applicable to you. I`m working my way through it, and the math is a bit awesome, but I think it will really improve my style! Even just for purchased clothing, the fitting tips will be helpful.

There`s also a huge amount of chat about the new Mason-Dixon Knitting book. I haven`t looked at it yet but it`s on my list to check out.

BTW, even though the Elann prices are the list price, remember with each book you get several `coupons` of $2.50US to apply against $25US yarn purchases. When you do this math, Elann beats even Amazon prices.
