That Outback wool looks good enough to eat - that`s going to be a great project! What colourway is it?

Eileen the colorway is Amethyst Lights. I am making it for DGD#1 who is 6 and her favorite color is purple, at least it was last week and the week before it was pink! The picture is a very true presentation of the color and you`re so right it does look good enought to eat. I should be finished with it by tomorrow and will post a picture.I LOVE THIS YARN

Hi Patricia,
That wool works up wonderfully. I haven`t gotten to mine yet but I love the way the colorway is working out on your poncho. DGD will go nuts when she sees it! Once again, you inspire me to get moving and get some knitting done. ;-} Benne

Patricia: Your poncho is so beautiful. Your DGD will love it. I think the color way of yours and my vest are very similar- pink and lavendar. Outback sure is nice yarn. You really make me thinking to make a poncho for my niece. Shui Kuen

Cool design, cool ideas, what yarn did you use? Have you got a live model? This garment really begs to be seen on a person. And I`m NOT just saying that to drum up more "Men In Ponchos" shots, but while we`re on the subject... it would be a nice addition to the collection... it`s dark color might make it a teensy bit easier to convince a model of the male persuasion... it sure would be grand to have another "real human" to keep Benne`s DH company in the photo gallery...

Patricia,
Beautiful! You`ve got a definite flair for the dramatic with that taj color band. This has got to be on luxurious poncho with alpaca and taj. I think your DH would be a knockout in it. lol Benne

WHO gets this poncho?? (Oh, pick ME!) Will you wear this to see DH, or will it be for DIL? I think it`s a great use of color and material-and Chickie`s right, someone HAS to model it. How about your son? (evil grin!)
What was your pattern source?
All hail to the reigning poncho queen!

Patricia, Beautiful, elegant looking poncho--looks like something a more mature person (like me!) could wear without looking like I`m trying to be hip! Sandra

Patricia, it looks so beautiful! I bet the feel of it is wonderful too, with those fibres - what an inventive fibre combination! That drape is amazing as well - is this for you?? Oh - is this your hubby rendezvous poncho?????

Eileen the feel of this is soooo soft and it is not really really heavy either. Tis for rendezvous and perhaps he will allow me to take a picture of him in it. Thank you for your kind words.
