He is a long hoped for second child and we have been cheering her on through the entire pregnancy. Some of us conspired to have an online non-shower but he came a bit early and caught us off guard. We have referred to him as Frankie Mac because even now he doesn`t have a *real* name. Eileen (ecasey) is the only one of us who is actually close enough to go visit the hospital.
And I am very impressed at your delivery of your own grandson. That is pretty unusual these days.

My daughter would also like to. How nice to have him so early. My daughter wears a pin that says, "Please God, deliver me soon" This is her third and my 5th boy....no girls.
My last grandson who is now 2 came in a big hurry and I had to do the honours while waiting for the paramedics. My specialty is in Neonatal intensive care so you would think I would know what to do. Not a chance....I was a hysterical grandmother but all went well, thankgoodness.
Again, my congratulations you and all of your family. You are in for some really nice rocking and cuddling.
