I`m trying to knit the Version II patterns. Now I`m trying to bind off the arm holes but I dont quite get the instructions. I dont get what it mean by "at right side edge work edge st and 2 in patt, then K3 tog; work to 6 from end of row....." What I want to clarify is, is it work 2 in patt mean work the edge st then work 2 sts as at the 2 first sts in the leaf patt?

Yes, You`ve got it. The decrease are into the patterned part rather than at the edge. The two pattern stitches after the edge stitch are probably fairly firm (not a bunch of YO and holes) or else they are something like K K YO, in which case, you`ll have a neat slanted line of eyelets. Then you do the reverse at the other end of the row.
