BAHAHAHAHAAA!! I haven`t thought of those commercials in years. Too funny. I see it very clearly.

My problem is in the ol` thighs. That`s where weight goes on me. Right to the seat and thighs. Dan and I are going back on Weight Watchers starting Monday. I`ve gained almost 15 lbs since we got here August 1st (is it any wonder?! The food is heavenly and I do love food! lol). I`d worked so hard last year so I`d look good when he came home from Afghanistan and then we got here and it all went to pot. I was eating well and religiously doing my Firm workouts (love those - only thing that`s ever worked for me).
But I digress...

Jean
Ansbach, Germany

Remeber that old, cold war era commercial for who knows what that featured stocky Soviet women in green utility dresses, always the same dress, and she would come on with a flshlight and they would say "Is evening wear" and a beachball and they would say "Is svimwear" and so forth? Well, if I lost some weight in my arms they would look like hers, so maybe I can find a way to donate something for your implants? LOL

I don`t know, maybe it is us Jean! I too added 2 stitches (72) so the cable section wouldn`t pull at the seam. I wanted to wait and see how you and Corinna worked the cable section before I went on. I worked the pattern the way it was written twice and wondered what I`d done wrong. Oh well, with my broomstick arms the sleeves are going to be really big on me. Maybe I can get wrist implants. Ha!
Benne

I should have articulated that I increased to 72 sts.

That`s weird that Corinna didn`t have the same problem. Maybe it`s us! lol.

Peace,
Jean
Ansbach, Germany

LOL!! I was just getting on here to ask the same thing!! I added two stitches so that there`s no break in the pattern around. Does that make sense. So looking at the right side I have end with k2 on one side and p2 on the other.

Peace,
Jean

I don`t remember having any problems with the sleeves and the pattern. Looking at it it seems that the pattern ended in the final p2k2. I can`t find my instructions right now so I`m not sure. Jean????

I started the sleeves and wondered how you handled the cable stitch pattern ending without the final p2,k2 stitches. The cable stitch pattern is 12+2 and the pattern calls for an increase to 70 stitches. My final section of row 1 after the increase ended with the cable section. Did I mess up the row or did you let it end there? I wondered if it would pull in an odd way when it comes time to sew the sleeve seam. Help, girls, I`m stuck til I hear from you.
Benne
