Featured Design: This Very Easy, Very Vogue shawl collared cardigan, designed by Debbie Bliss and knit in Silk City Paloma by Maggie Tietjen, is from the now out-of-print Vogue Knitting Magazine - Fall 2005, and is available for purchase as a pdf download at the Vogue Knitting website. In finished bust measurements 41, 43, 44.5, 46" (finished length 22, 23, 23.75, 24.5"), the design was originally knit with two different aran weight yarns, using 693, 770, 847, 924 yards for the body, plus 400 yards of contrast for the shawl collar (all sizes). Our sample was knit using Paloma for both the body and collar, working out to a total of 1093, 1170, 1247, 1324 yards (or 1.09, 1.17, 1.25, 1.32 pounds of Silk City Paloma).
