Its body is made of three identical panels worked in Trinity stitch, two at the center front and one at the center back; its sides are two long, symmetrical panels without shoulder seams, worked in Right and Left Oblique stitch with Butterfly cables. To complete, there are two identical small under-arm panels with pocket pieces, then two sleeves, all worked in Rhomb pattern. This beautiful cardigan, designed by Lutz and Patmos and knit in elann.com Peruvian Highland Bulky and Peruvian Highland Chunky by Elaine Weyucker, features an allover cable pattern with large cables traveling up the center back. Knit in patch pockets, hemmed front bands, and a high collar all add to the beauty of this wearable design. Well suited to intermediate knitters, or for knitters wishing to learn reversible cabling, it is available in sizes XS/S, M, L/XL, and XXL and uses 910, 1040, 1170, 1430 yards of polar weight (10 st/4") yarn. Our sample was knit using one strand each of our Peruvian Highland Bulky and Highland Chunky - 17, 20, 22, 27 balls of Highland Bulky and 12, 14, 16, 19 balls of our Highland Chunky.
